Peter Canning

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Peter Canning, age 56 years, of Virgin Arm, NL announce his unexpected passing at his residence on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents Allan & Juanita, baby brother Lorne and father-in-law Martin.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Phoebe, children Allan (Vicki), Brandon (Shelley), Courtney (Matt), grandchildren Koby, Jacob, Emma, Jaiden, Dylan, Maya, River, brother Chesley (Sheila), mother-in-law Grace, siblings-in-law Sharon, Dalton (Rhonda), Calvin, Sandra (Ivan), Warren as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home with public visitation on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

Donations in Peter's memory may be given to his family.
