Ralph Powell

We regret to announce the passing of Ralph Powell, age 78 years, of Herring Neck at the the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

Ralph is predeceased by his parents Robert and Iva, siblings John, Audrey, Thomas and Wesley. He leaves with fond and loving memories nieces and nephews: Kirby, Michael, Danny, Garland, Robert, Joey, Daisy, Nicholas, Natasha, Kimberley, Cordell, Corwin and Melissa. Also left to mourn are his siblings Pauline (Ellison Burt), Newville, NL, Harvey (Daphne), Herring Neck, NL, Louise (Levi Rice), Herring Neck, NL and Donald (Sharon), Herring Neck, NL.

The Powell family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

The funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m..with Rev. Paula Gale officiating. Pallbearers are Danny, Garland, Cordell, Corwin, Joey and Daisy. Interment will be at the United Church Cemetery, Merritt's Harbour, NL.
