Ray Maidment

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ray Maidment, age 69 years, of Cottlesville, NL announce his passing at James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

He is predeceased by his parents William & Sarah, first wife Betty, 2 sisters Frances & Anne, special aunt Ann and uncle Charlie.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ruby, children Lori (Troy) Glover, Jason (Heather) Watkins, Jennifer (Ian) Blake, grandchildren Stephanie, Joshua, Tyler, Ryan, Jay, Blake, Logan, great-grandchildren Riley, Mason and Madison, sibilings Bill (Bonnie), Harvey (Wanda), Gordon (Janet), Lloyd (Lisa), Eleanor (Gene), Wanda (Roy), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, with public visitation on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps, Summerford, NL on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Major C. Abbott officiating. Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Cottlesvile,NL.

Donations in Ray's memory may be given to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Cottlesville, NL.
