Robert Boyd

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Robert Boyd, age 66 years, of Summerford, NL announce his unexpected passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

He is predeceased by his parents-in-law Claude & Rita Hurley, grandparents Allan & Sarah Boyd, David & Rosie Marsh and brother-in-law Wilson Hurley.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Maisie, children Krista (Michael) Jenkins, Morgan Boyd, Carolyn (Mitch) Pelley, grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Anna, Austin, parents Otto & Mina, siblings Viola, Rhonda (Lorne), Bronda (Matthew), Roxanne (Dave), Gerard, siblings-in-law Nellie (Ross), Beaton (Pansy), Melinda (Bernard), Geraldine (Ernest), Gerald (Frances), Waveline (Carl), Wanda (Junior), Claudette, June (Allister), Bonnie (Nelson), Sherrie (Lawrence), Kimberley (Paul), sister-in-law Wavey Hurley as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL. Visitation and funeral service will remain private for family and close friends only. Funeral service will take place from New World Island West Salvation Army Corps, Summerford on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
