Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Rodney Hawkins, age 53 years, of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Monday, August 7, 2023.
He is predeceased by his parents Jack & Marina (Leonard), sisters Georgina (Steadman), Darlene, nephew Jeremy and sister-in-law Christine.
Left with fond and loving memories are his siblings Wilson, Harvey (Jacqueline), Woodrow (Carolyn), Evelyn (Graham), Daphne (Boyce), Geraldine (Alvin), Kevin, Alwood (Patsy), Christine (Ross), Josephine, special nephew Trevor (Kayla) their daughter Alauna, his beloved dog Roxy, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor H. Troake officiating.
