Roger Gates

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roger Gates, age 95 years of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Tuesday, July, 20, 2021.

He is predeceased by his wife Maisie, parents Bennett & Daisy Gates, siblings Lloyd, Fred, sisters Rowena & Hilda.

Left with fond and loving memories are his children Lorne (Teresa), Alvin (Wanda), Norman (Helen), Marvin (Susan), Lindy (Roxanne), Elizabeth (Kenny), grandchildren Courtney, Amber, Brittany, Kyle, Shane and Dani as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. following the Covid-19 restrictions. Funeral service will take place on Sunday from the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. You may pre-register to attend the service by calling 629-7129 on Friday between 1- 3 p.m.

Donations in Roger's memory can be given to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Summerford, NL.
