Ronald Wheeler

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Wheeler, age 70 years, of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre,  Twillingate, NL on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

He is predeceased by his parents Maxwell & Dorothy, sister Evelyn Ings and brothers Willis & Donald (twin brother).

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Phyllis, children Greta (Robert) Peters, Mount Forest, ON, Oliver (Marcy), Brampton, ON, Thelma (Craig) Baldwin, Hampden, NL, Keith (Courtney), Kitchener, ON, grandchildren Matthew Wheeler, Ryan Anstey, Tiana Wheeler, Samantha Peters, Shane Peters, Riley Baldwin, Lucas Baldwin, Katie Wheeler, Emily Wheeler, siblings George (Annie), Summerford, NL, Mae (Malcolm) Ball, Stanhope, NL, Reginald (Elsie), Gander, NL, Malcolm (Laura), Summerford, NL, Leroy (Ruby), Summerford, NL, Woodrow, Stanhope, NL, Maryann Wheeler, CBS, NL and Johnny (Audrey), Cobb's Arm, NL as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Ronald's family would like to thank his homecare workers Shawna Barnes, Marion Collins, Rachel Pelley, Melissa Pelley and all the other wonderful workers he had over the years.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. following the Covid-19 restrictions. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Summerford Pentecostal Church by invitation only.
