Passed peacefully away while surrounded by his loving family, a much beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many; at The Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on March 30, 2023 at the age of 79. The family would like to express gratitude and thanks to ICU staff of both James Paton Memorial and Health Sciences Centre.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories his devoted wife of 57 years, Juanita, his daughters; Cathy Croucher (Mike), Colette Newman (Brendon), Rossann Gough (Brian) and grandchildren: Ryan (Toni), Julie, Katie and Tyler and great-granddaughter Malia. Four siblings: Rex (Doris), Evelyn, Clayton (Venetia), Anthony (Yvonne).
Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Mary LeDrew, in-laws Fred and Yvonne Cooze and granddaughter Jill Croucher.
Ross was an outgoing person who loved gardening, rabbit hunting, cooking, baking and story telling. For most of his life, he was a member of the Anglican Church Men's group and a lay minister for 12 years. Some of his happiest moments was at his cabin cooking up a scoff for a crowd.
Public visitation will take place from the New World Island Funeral Home, Sunday, April 2 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. the funeral service will take place from St. George's Anglican Church, Boyd's Cove, NL on Monday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to follow from St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery.
