Ross was loved by all who knew him and he had many good friends. He was a Christian man who served the Lord. He lived a full and large life and in his early years was a competitive skier who won championship races, he served in the Military, following this he pursued a career in meat cutting and opened his own butcher shop and was affectionally as the moose man. Ross liked to travel south with his family, was an avid diver, loved diving for scallops, a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building things especially his cabin in Millertown. A hard-working man who never complained about work. At the age of 57 he went back to school and did a scaffolding course and worked in Bull Arm and with his nephew’s company Richard’s Mechanical. Ross lived every day to the fullest, an avid hunter & boater he will be missed by many who knew him.
His family would like to thank the staff of James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL for taking good care of him.
