Rowena Barnes

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rowena Barnes, age 73 years, of Summerford, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

She is predeceased by her parents Ralph & Flossie Stuckey, brother Joe Stuckey.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Albert, children Dennis, Mavis (Shawn) Boyd, Petina (Dennis) Wheeler, Coleen, Gerald (Krista), Geraldine, Joey, Tommy (Daisy), grandchildren Jessica, Patrick, Jamie, Nicholas, Sarah, Rebecca, Lucas, Aaron, Rachael, Brianna, Sonny, Julienne, Isabelle, great-granddaughter Amelia, siblings Mildred (Stanley) Burt, Eric (Rowena) Stuckey, Della (Pat) Cooper, Reginald (Gloria) Stuckey, Junior (Della) Stuckey, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 7-8 p.m. A funeral service for family and close friends will take place from the New World Island West Salvation Army Corps., Summerford, NL on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Major Sylvia Burt officiating.
