Ruby Cooper

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Cooper, age 77 years, of Twillingate, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

She is predeceased by her mother Emma White, father Alfred Burt, sons Brian & Eric, sisters Jean, Maisie, Geraldine, Susie, brothers Bert, Ernest, brothers-in-law Elmo & Tom, sister-in-law Irene (Harold).

Left with fond and loving memories are her partner Douglas Chipman, children Marion (Curtis), Harvey (Harriet), Terry, Peter (Melissa), step children Stephanie (Matthew), Amy (Mike), grandchildren Kimberly (Justin), Brenda (Sandra), Josh, Sam, step-grandson Adrian, great-grandchildren Cameron, Dante, Kaylee, Rylan, Isaiah, siblings Ellen (Calvin), Charlie, Audrey, Evelyn (Brian), George, Alfred (Martha), sisters-in-law Gertie (Wilson), Gladys (Wayne), brothers-in-law Edgar (Minnie), Calvin (Betty), Ernest (Susie), Wayne (Wanda), best friend John (Karen) Chipman, many nieces & nephews as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 2 p.m.

Donations in her memory may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
