Shirley Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Brown announce her unexpected peaceful passing on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander.

She is predeceased by her parents Dodd & Fanny Brown; and brothers Gordon & Roy.

She is survived by her children Irene (Alex), Janice, Jerry, Jeannie (Mike), Brian; grandchildren Gregory (Katie), Shanelle, Jessica (Nolan), Kody, KeeRa, Jase, Miranda (Jonathan), Kyle, Keltie (Zak), Kallen, Blair, Brayden, Maya; great-grandchildren Matthew, Madison, Kaidyn, Galen; siblings Gus (Linda), Pansy (Clarence), Bill (Gloria), Ruby (Joe), Geraldine, Doyle (Bev), Ivan (Kim), Lewis (Jose), Edgar, Junior, Bonnie (Dean), Neil (Ang); sister-in-law Beryl Brown as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor S. Holmes officiating.
