Shirley Burt

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Burt, age 76 years, of Carter's Cove, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

She is predeceased by her parents Dorman & Effie Scott, step-father Frank Taylor, husband Aubrey, brothers Gerald, Winslow, Bert, sisters Elva and Mildred.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Suzanne (Jarret), Kent, grandson Damien (Candace), great-granddaughter Alexa, siblings Viola (Jack) Granville, Audrey White, Joyce Wall, Ruth Gedge, Norma (Gerald) Noel, Lorraine (John) Burt as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 1-3 p.m.

Donations in Shirley's memory may be given to Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
