Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Shirley Mehaney, age 66 years, of Newville, NL announce her peaceful passing at her home with her loved ones by her side on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
She is predeceased by her parents George & Blanche Rice.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Floyd, children Jill (Philip), Kirk (Jenna), grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Claire, Sadie, Benjamin, Charlotte, siblings Hardy (Irene), Max (Kay) and Doug (Judy) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Shirley's family would like to give a special thank-you to the palliative care team and her homecare workers.
Donations in Shirley's memory may be given to the Gander & Area S.P.C.A. or the New World Island East Central United Church Parking Lot Fund, Newville, NL.
