Shirley Powell

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Powell, age 69 years of Merritt’s Harbour, NL announce her passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Saturday, November 27, 2021.  

Predeceased by parents Botsford & Meta Stuckless, sister Inez, parents-in-law Frank & Marjorie Powell, brother-in-law Ernest, sister-in-law Susan and niece Tonya. 

Left with fond and loving memories are husband Roy, daughter Amanda (Robin), Grandson William, siblings Cyril (Shirley), Winston, Joy (Junior), Rose, Elaine, Sharon (Hardy), Patsy, brothers-in-law Allister (Angela) and Jerry. As well as nieces, nephews and extended family & friends. 
 

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home. Public visitation will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the New World Island East Cental United Church, Newville, NL on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Wearing of masks for everyone remains mandatory, along with proof of a vaccination passport as per government requirements) 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory may be given to her family.
