Stacey Canning Obituary

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre on Thursday, July 8, 2021, Stacey Canning, aged 53 years, of Birchy Bay, NL.

She is predeceased by her grand parents Abram and Margaret Taylor, Wesley and Elsie Canning, uncle Alvin Taylor and nephew Robert (Bobby) Canning.

Left with fond and loving memories are her parents John and Louise, brother Darrell (Lena), nephew Johnny (Chanel) Campbell and great nephews Levi and Kohen.

She will be sadly missed and affectionately remembered as a beautiful daughter, sister, auntie and friend to anyone who had the opportunity to meet her.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the attending nurses and doctors at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre as well as the paramedics with Freake’s Ambulance Service.

Resting at the Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle, Birchy Bay, NL where public visitation will take place on Monday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place from the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. Due to limited seating you are asked to pre-register by contacting the church @ 709-659-2106 on Monday between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.

Donations in Stacey’s memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
