Veneita LeDrew

March 24, 1951  - October 21, 2024

It is with sadness that the family of Veneita announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, NL, aged 73 years.

Veneita was born in Triton to Ralph and Myrtle Budgell. On August 05, 1978 she married Clayton LeDrew of Boyd's Cove. Together they had two daughters: Kerrilynn and Kendra, one granddaughter Chelsea and one great-granddaughter Iris.

She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Myrtle Budgell, brothers Bernard and Boyce (Joan), sister Marie, her parents-in-law Raymond and Mary LeDrew and brother-in-law Ross.

Leaving behind to celebrate her memories are: husband Clayton, daughters Kerrilynn and Kendra, granddaughter Chelsea (Will), great-granddaughter Iris, brother Roy (Sadie) and sister Fern (Ivan).

The family remembers a life lived in the calm and serenity of a home where love and respect stood as hallmarks shaping their lives and character. She will be remembered as a woman of strong character and a steadfast faith.

Resting at the New World Island Funeral Home with visitation from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Funeral service will take place from the Summerford Pentecostal Church  at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Summerford.
