Vera Boyd

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Vera Boyd, age 77 years, of Tizzard’s Hr. announce her unexpected passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander.

She is predeceased by her parents Hedley & Sylvia; infant daughter Kimberley; siblings Vernon, Velma (Bob), Peggy, Viola, siblings-in-law Una (Gilbert), Allister (Audrey), Norman, Loretta, Wallace, Obediah, Ross, Leo; parents-in-law Stanley & Dorothy. 

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Ronald; children Bradley (Lori-Ann), Kelly (Jody); grandsons Max (Kayla), Brandon (Rachel), Riley (Erica), Liam (Jane); great-grandchildren Sydney, Tessa; siblings Varrick (Edna), Victor (Elizabeth), Vincent (Anne), Vaughan (Gerri), Valda (Denis); siblings-in-law Maggie, Roger (Joan), Douglas, Harry (Josephine), Maisie, Phyllis, Elaine (Charles), Gertrude as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Tizzard’s Hr. with Rev. C. Ginn officiating.

Donations in Vera’s memory may be given to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Tizzard’s Hr.
