Vina Burt

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vina Burt, age 83 formerly of Virgin Arm, NL announce her passing at the Health Science Centre, St. Johns, NL on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

She is predeceased by her husband Herman, parents Ford & Rowena, siblings Pearce, Betty (Bert), Glennis and Donald.

Left with fond and loving memories are children Donna (Dennis), Lizzie (John), Sherry (Morgan), grandchildren Lorne, Shelley (David), Samantha, Timothy (Amber), great- grandchildren Charley, Courtland, Madison, Maddox, Emberly, siblings Bernice (Mac), Joyce, Harold (Grace), Woodrow (Wendy), Otto (Shirley), Marilyn (Sterling), Victor (Rhonda), Derrick (Debbie), Debbie (Tony), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home with public visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL with Rev. V. Kingsbury officiating.

Donations in Vina’s memory may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
