Vina Burt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Vina Burt, age 92 years, formerly of Newville, NL announce her unexpected passing at Sunset Manor, Twillingate, NL on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

She is predeceased by her parents George & Eva Rideout, husband Wallace, brothers Wilson (Julia), Eric, sister Carrie (Hughie), brothers-in-law Verdon, Frank, William, Colbourne, sisters-in-law Lucy & Amy.

Left with fond and loving memories are her son Ellison (Pauline), grandsons Michael, Kirby (Rita), sisters-in-law Frances (Harold), Lucy as well as a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL with Rev. V. Kingsbury officiating.

Donations in Vina’s memory may be given to the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL.
