Violet Burt

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Burt, age 86 years, formerly of Tizzard's Hr., NL announce her passing at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, NL on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

She is predeceased by her parents Baxter & Mary Mills, husband Obediah, grandson Nicolas, brothers Almon, Cedric, sisters Mabel, Rita, son-in-law Edgar Saunders and brothers-in-law Gilbert & Edmund.

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Raymond (Phyllis), Rosiland (Carl), Sheila, Lester (Zeny), Winston (Michelle), Monica (Chris), Adam, grandchildren Kimberly (Keith), Jamie (Martina), John (Mona), April (Corey), Wallace (Shelley), Serena (Lloyd), Nena, David (Mallory), Candise (Mike), Sheena, Kerri-Ann, Tina, Tammy (Jorge), Jorge (Amanda), Selena (Craig), Nathanial, Thomas, Katie numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren, siblings Sarah, Jean, Alice (Aubrey), Nelson (Alma), Loretta (Don) and sister-in-law Leona Mills as well as a large number of extended family and friends.

Visitation will remain private. Public funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
