Violet Jenkins

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Jenkins, age 103 years old, formerly of Summerford, NL announce her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls- Windsor, NL on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph & Victoria, husband Roland, daughter Olive, brothers Oliver, Eli, Ned (Edward), sisters Dora, Annie, grandson Jimmy Elliott, great-grandson Brent Elliott, sons-in-law Charlie Young & Everett Bridger.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Ruby (Bert) Elliott, Rita Young, Betty (Don) Squires, Margurite Bridger, Madeline (Joe) Saunders, Bill (Pearl), Mac (Barb), Wayne (Elsie), Charles (Annette), a large number of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, sister Dolly March. As well as a large cirlce of extended family and friends.

Resting at the Summerford Pentecostal Church, with visitation on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor B. Andrews officiating.

Donations in Violet's memory may be given to the Summerford Pentecostal Cemetery Fund.
