Violet Jenkins

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Jenkins aged 96 years formerly of Summerford, NL announce her passing at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

She is predeceased by her parents Norman & Jesse Pelley, husband Maxwell, sons Noel, Wilson, grandsons Richard, Terry, great-grandchildren Jessie, Jay-Jay, siblings Bessie, Winnie, Blanche, Allegara and Stanley.

Left with fond memories are her children Sterling (June), Terrance (Julie), Harris (Jacqueline), Donley (Loretta), Brian (Evelyn), Inez, Clyde (Leona), 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Resting at the Summerford Pentecostal Church with public visitation on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1 p.m. with Pastor H. Troake officiating.
