I just want to commend Thomas and Amy for the excellent service we received. It has been just over 6 months now since we required funeral arrangements for Mom. My father, brother, and myself had to make the arrangements and because it was the first time being in that position, I really didn't know what to expect. I came away though, very impressed with the thoughtfulness, empathy, professional, yet very personal assistance provided. It was not anywhere we wanted to be or even felt we could handle at the time; however, Thomas was very patient and did not rush the process. He made everything as easy as possible. There was no question that we couldn't ask and he was very accommodating to any concerns and specific requests we had. Mom looked spectacular, if that's even appropriate to describe a deceased person, but she truly looked like herself with her hair trimmed and styled and just enough makeup to soften the harsh reality of death! She looked like a Princess on her way to meet her King! The respect and care Mom received from funeral home to burial was exactly as we wished. Amy's assistance and instructions to the pallbearers were handled with quiet respect and professional authority. Just recently the memorial headstone was installed and it is just as we ordered and looks great! I remember telling Thomas I hope I never need to see him again, but I would certainly recommend anyone entrusting their loved ones to their expert care! I can't say enough good things about NWI funeral home . They are very kind and compassionate In our time of sorrow. They helped us through every step of planning of the funeral and burial. Could not ask for better. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
